How to Export

  1. Go to Responses tab

  2. Apply filters (optional) to export a subset

  3. Click Export

  4. Choose format and options

  5. Download file

For each question:

  • Question identifier

  • Participant's answer

  • For multiple choice: selected option(s)

  • For scales: numeric value

  • For open-ended: full text

For video/audio questions:

  • Transcript text

  • Quality indicators

  • All responses - Complete dataset

  • Filtered responses - Only matching current filters

  • Completed only - Exclude incomplete

Working with Exported Data

Opening CSV Files

In Excel:

  1. File β†’ Open

  2. Select CSV file

  3. Choose comma delimiter

In Google Sheets:

  1. File β†’ Import

  2. Upload CSV

  3. Select import settings

Data Cleaning Tips

After export, you may need to:

  • Remove test responses (if not filtered)

  • Handle missing values

  • Validate data types

  • Check for formatting issues
