Add images and visual materials to enhance your study questions

Overview

Stimulus materials are visual assets (images, graphics) that you show to participants alongside questions. Use them for:

  • Concept testing

  • Package design evaluation

  • Ad creative testing

  • Brand logo assessment

  • Product image reactions

Uploading Stimuli

Using the Stimulus Upload Card

  1. Navigate to your question that needs visual materials

  2. Click Add Stimulus or the image upload area

  3. Select files from your computer

  4. Files upload and preview automatically

Auto-Compression

Large images are automatically compressed to:

  • Reduce upload time

  • Improve participant loading speed

  • Maintain visual quality

You'll see a progress indicator during compression.

Managing Stimuli

Custom IDs

Assign custom identifiers to each stimulus for easier reference in your analysis:

  1. Click the stimulus thumbnail

  2. Enter a custom ID (e.g., "Package_A", "Logo_Blue")

  3. These IDs appear in your export data

Descriptions

Add descriptions to provide context:

  1. Click the stimulus to open details

  2. Add a description

  3. Descriptions can be shown to participants or kept internal

Reordering

Drag stimuli to change their display order. The first stimulus appears most prominently.

Deleting

Click the X icon on any stimulus to remove it. This action cannot be undone.

Use clear, consistent naming:

This makes analysis and export clearer.
