Configure recruitment panels and demographic targeting criteria

The Recruit tab is your control center for participant recruitment. Here you configure who can participate in your study and how many responses you need.

Managed Panels

Panels are groups of participants from recruitment providers. You can configure multiple panels per study.

Panel List

The managed panels list shows:

Adding Panels

  1. Click Add Panel

  2. Configure demographic criteria

  3. Set target completion count

  4. Save the panel

You can run multiple panels simultaneously for larger or segmented studies.

Managing Criteria

Adding Criteria

  1. Click Add Criterion in your panel

  2. Select the criterion type

  3. Choose allowed values

  4. Criteria immediately updates population estimate

Editing Criteria

Click any criterion to modify:

  • Change selected values

  • Add or remove options

  • See impact on feasibility

Deleting Criteria

Remove criteria you no longer need:

  1. Click the X on the criterion

  2. Population estimate updates automatically

Group related criteria together for organization:

Creating Groups

  1. Click Add Criteria Group

  2. Name the group

  3. Add criteria to the group

Creating and Updating Criteria

Bulk Updates

When you have multiple panels:

  1. Create criteria template on first panel

  2. Duplicate to other panels

  3. Adjust specific values per panel

Version Control

Criteria changes after launch:

  • Don't affect already-completed responses

  • Apply to new participants only

  • Consider impact on quota fill rates
