Test Link Generation

Before publishing, always test your study.

Generate a Test Link

  1. Navigate to Recruit tab

  2. Click Generate Test Link

  3. Copy the provided URL

  4. Share with team members for testing

Test Mode Features

In test mode:

  • Responses are marked as test data

  • No cost incurred

  • Full survey flow available

  • Test responses don't count toward quotas

Enable/Disable Test Mode

Enabling Test Mode

From Draft status:

  1. Click Enable Testing

  2. Status changes to Testing

  3. Test links become available

Disabling Test Mode

When testing is complete:

  1. Click Disable Test Mode

  2. Confirm in the dialog

  3. Test data can be cleared or retained

⚠️ Warning: Disabling test mode clears test responses. Make sure testing is complete before disabling.

Direct Invites

Send individual invitations for testing or small studies.

Invite Form

  1. Click Invite Participant

  2. Enter email or generate unique link

  3. Set invitation details (optional message)

  4. Send invitation

Track direct invites:

  • Sent count

  • Opened count

  • Started count

  • Completed count

Publishing Your Study

Pre-Publish Checklist

Before clicking Publish:

  • All questions reviewed

  • Logic tested all paths

  • Test responses look correct

  • Quotas configured

  • Pricing approved

  • Timeline acceptable

Publish Survey Form

  1. Click Publish button

  2. Review the confirmation dialog:

    • Target respondents

    • Estimated cost

    • Estimated timeline

  3. Confirm publication

Publish Confirmation Dialog

The dialog shows:

  • Final cost estimate

  • Expected completion date

  • Panel configuration summary

  • Any warnings or issues

After Publishing

Monitoring Live Studies

Once live:

  • Responses stream in real-time

  • View progress in Responses tab

  • Check quota fill rates

  • Monitor quality scores

Making Changes

Limited changes allowed after publishing:

Revert to Draft

If you need to make substantial changes:

When to Revert

  • Major errors discovered

  • Significant scope change

  • Client feedback requires restructure

How to Revert

  1. Click Revert to Draft

  2. Confirm the action

  3. Study returns to Draft status

⚠️ Warning: Reverting clears all responses. Only do this if you must restart data collection.

After Reverting

  • All responses are deleted

  • Study returns to editing mode

  • You can make any changes

  • Must re-publish to collect data

Status Transitions

Valid transitions:

Draft → Testing → Translation → Feasibility → Live → Completed
                     ↑_______________↓
                (can skip if single language)

Some transitions are one-way:

  • Live → Completed (irreversible)

  • Responses deleted on revert to Draft
